Amber Butler

Amber Butler works as a Program Specialist with Virginia Commonwealth University’s Training and Technical Assistance Center.  She supports teachers in regions 1 and 8 of Virginia in their facilitation of LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling) and Inclusive Practices. Amber is the Regions 1& 8 Dyslexia Advisor lead. As lead she facilitates initiatives to support Dyslexia Advisors educate their divisions administrators and teachers on the characteristics of Dyslexia, and provides them with resources to support struggling readers. Amber is trained in the multisensory structured language approach to reading (Orton-Gillingham) and LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling).
