April Schnipper currently works as an Instructional Coach for Kindergarten through 2nd grade at Patrick Copeland Elementary School in Hopewell.  She has taught Kindergarten and 2nd grades at Patrick Copeland.  April is certified in the Orton Gillingham Approach, as well as trained in LETRS. Her professional goals are to help teachers and students reach their full ability. She is a lifelong learner and wants to instill that in her coworkers and students. She lives in Mechanicsville, VA with her husband and has two children, 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 turtles.
